Slashing, rate gaps, contract risk and on-chain verification
Name the main risks first, then learn what the published material says to check on-chain.
Slashing and validator risk
Validators can face slashing. They can face inactivity penalties, downtime, missed rewards and exit delay. The ValidatorX terms say these events can affect the value, timing or amount linked to a position. These are protocol and network risks. A receipt token cannot erase them.
A validator can be penalised. It can go offline. This can affect a position.

Rate gaps and contract risk
A DEX market rate for uPLS can differ from the protocol exchange rate. Smart contracts can have bugs, exploits, failures or design limits. The published code review calls itself internal. It is not an independent third-party check. It is not outside assurance.
DEX and protocol rates can differ. Contracts have risks. An internal review is not outside assurance.

How to check the position
Use the published contract and validator references with a block explorer. Use the source material's method. Compare the current uPLS supply, protocol rate, pending withdrawals and stated PLS resources. Then read the current transaction history and terms. This helps you inspect the mechanism. It does not prove a future outcome.
Use a block explorer. Use the published method. Check supply, rate, withdrawals and resources. It cannot predict the future.

Recap
- Slashing, downtime and exit delay can affect a ValidatorX position.
- A DEX rate can differ from the protocol exchange rate.
- Smart-contract risk remains after an internal review.
- On-chain checks can inspect current data. They cannot prove a future result.
