Create and configure a pool

Read the real create form before deciding whether to make a pool.

You will need
The Fund, Anchor and No-Trade Zone ideas from LPX 1 and LPX 2.

What the form asks for

Pick the Fund token by contract address. Pick the Anchor token by contract address. Then arrive at Pool Settings. The screen shows a chart, a No Trade Zone NTZ % input, a Harvest/Compound slider and a plain summary with the fee.

What you can set before creation

Read the chart and summary. Enter the No Trade Zone NTZ %. Set the Harvest/Compound slider. Then press Create pool only if you understand the wallet request. The form does not show how Sell Price and Buy Price are derived.

What appears after creation

The detail card shows Max Sell Price, Sell Price, Buy Price and Min Buy Price as read-only values. It also shows Profit, Reinvested, Manager Reward and Fee. Use the card to read the created pool. Do not treat those values as form controls.

After creation, the card shows read-only prices and settings.

What the current interface cannot do

Fee, No-Trade-Zone, profit split and manager reward can change at the contract level after launch. The current interface does not yet provide controls for this. This lesson is marked for update when the interface changes. Never follow an instruction to click a control that is not there.

Some settings can change on chain. The current interface does not yet provide those controls.

Read the steps instead
  1. Open the LPX app and connect a wallet.
  2. Open the create-pool screen.
  3. Pick WPLS as the fund side by its contract address.
  4. Set DAI as the anchor side by its contract address.
  5. Review the pool settings.
  6. Press Create pool and confirm it on the practice chain.
  7. The pool is created, and the view returns to the pool list.
